Tartan Teapot Tournament | Walking Football Event
To mark the one year anniversary of our partnership with Walking Football Scotland we hosted the Tartan Teapot walking football tournament at Oriam in collaboration with Active Scotland.
The day highlighted the social, mental and physical benefits of the sport for people. 🚶
MSP Maree Todd, Minister for Social Care, Mental Wellbeing and Sport, attended and played for Active Scotland as well as MSP for Central Scotland, Gillian Mackay, who turned out for our CHSS team.
Stuart Brown, Deputy Head of Prevention Services at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland said: “Sport is an amazing and powerful tool which brings people together, reduces social isolation and loneliness and best of all it’s fun.

Hello, I know you don't know me, but I want to tell you to seek God because he is coming soon, and that you run the great and horrendous danger of dying without Christ because if you don't repent you will receive a punishment because you have sinned against God, and nothing No one from this world can save you, only Jesus because he came here to earth to die for each one of us so that through Him we can be saved because when he died he paid that debt that we have with God but the question is if you accept it or not, and you will know that you have failed God when you see the 10 commandments, honor your father and mother, do not say the name of God in vain, you will not steal even if it is small, you will not fornicate, you will not look with lust and these are some, Seek him is life or death we have all failed but Jesus made the way to be saved no matter who and how great the sin.

I'm going on 9 years post stroke. It's gotten a lot harder for me in the past few years especially since I moved to another state, I have to rely on myself more to get things done. Best advice, except that some days will be harder than others, Pace yourself and plan things out, don't give yourself to much to do in one day, Prioritize Sleep and try to get 10 hours of sleep every night. More sleep is necessary for stroke recovery. Here's some info that might better explain Post Stroke Fatigue; www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3263555/ This info here on sleep might help you realize how vitaly important it is for everybody ruclips.net/p/PLmstweMnsfa90oUgKC8NshXC5Xsw0Ridv&si=LwJPalBN_BRwgTNe

I was diagnosed a couple years ago. Kids, if you are listening, this is a very expensive and difficult disease. Life expectancy is 12-15 years on average. Because you don't get enough oxygen, you are tired all the time. You don't go out, you don't have friends over, you cook what is easiest if at all. And when it is time to let go? You basically suffocate to death. So, kids, do NOT smoke anything, stay active, breathe fresh air whilst your toes are naked in the grass, and dammit hug a tree. All of these help. Please let your future be better than mine.

It seems almost better than the medicine. My GP and Pulmonologist are playing ask your mother, ask your father in this so I have given up on both of them.
